On this Art work the focus and the interest that I had was to touch on some topics of politics and socialism issue that happened in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. I try to rapresent this story using various materials such as plants, mop, textil, colour (especially black in this one).
Serhat Emrulai is a Macedonian-Albanian artist born in 1989 in Kiel, Germany.
From 2008 to 2013 studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tetovo, North Macedonia.
In 2016 he decided to enroll himself at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice where on October 8, 2019 he graduated in the triennial of Painting. Serhat is currently completing his painting studies with a Master at the same Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
Among his activities in Venice he was involved in the 57th exhibition of the Venice Art Biennale as an assistant for the Indonesian Pavilion. In May 2019 he took part at the “Art Night” in Venice, in a group exhibition with atelier 13 of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
