My paintings are about being yourself, in a world of fake expression, I will capture the cool, catchy and beautiful expression, and I use mixed media, with a connection to my feelings, so I can tell who I am, without being fake. The creative process is my own life experience, it has been marked by a lack of love and not being allowed to be myself as a child, and I see as many other humans in this world, I see it is importance to give love, no matter how your life is, and allowed to be ourselves from born to the end, so we can live as humans and be happy, and that way I can hopefully rewrite history and change people's perceptions of life, so that together we can live a life in peace- love & harmony.

Artist Bio

Jesper Borup (1973) is a self-taught artist born in Denmark. He spent his childhood in a traditional family, in a little town in jutland, and was living there in his adolescence. He decided to take an education as a carpenter and as a building constructor, and was moving around in Denmark. After 10 years working as a building constructor, he decided to follow his talent as a painter, and began to create art in his own cool and beautiful mixed media style, with a mixture of feelings, life experience and love. After a short time, he was selected to joine a closed group and platform of creative talents in Copenhagen, and from that stage and after a short time he was chosen to participate in his very first big exhibition, along with other amazing artists of a new generation. This is when he takes the first step towards art as a profession.
